@slug_hypmic Interpretation that he actually didn’t think that far. Rather, his only concern was how he could be of use to (or save) Hitoya. My question is: if he had killed him, would he turn himself in? Would that be aligned with his idea of atonement for his sins?

@hanaybuns It's a street gang, which isn't the same as a yakuza gang. The yakuza is a much, much more structured type of gang--often with older members a la a mafia--whereas Samatoki belongs to a less rigidly ordered steet gang of teens and young adults
