When the worker intercepted them, the accused reportedly "shoulder checked" her twice to force his way past. Upon arrival, the Orange County Sheriff's office noted that the man largely confirmed the sequence of events, claiming he simply walked into the employee as she blocked his path. The tourist was arrested, released on a $2,000 bond, and permitted to return to Canada. He has pleaded not guilty, and his pre-trial conference is scheduled for June 19.
