I believe we are past the coincidental stage. I'm not going to say it is time to blame T, but I'm comfortable saying that while all of these incidents appear to be unrelated, what is driving the uptick? Is it a change in aviation culture, or a lack of oversight, I'm not certain. In my entire flying career, I have never been more aware of the enormity of piloting until now. As I was building hours, we were entering a period where, commercial aviation in this country, just didn't have major accidents, and general aviation incidents were limited to weather or pilot error in general. This feels different.
