BORROWING & FINANCIAL LITERACY TIPS:
Why you should NOT guarantee someone for a loan:
You should think twice before you guarantee anyone for a bank or financial institutional loan. Below are issues to consider:
1. If you can not repay the loan yourself. If they default, you become responsible. A guarantor of a loan takes on the roles of a principal borrower and is hence liable.
2. If the borrower has unstable income, irregular cash flows, irregular jobs, business uncertainty, or poor money / cash management.
3. If you feel pressured, emotional pressure from family or friends is a bad reason to accept responsibility to guarantee a loan.
4. If the loan is risky or unnecessary. Some people borrow for luxury spending, gambling, or unclear business ventures. Ensure that you get to know the purpose of the loan that is being obtained. This will help you to follow up on the usage of the loan proceeds.
5. If it can damage your relationship with the bank or financial institution, as well as with the person you intend to guarantee. Money disputes often lead to conflict amongst colleagues and families.
6. If it affects your financial future .It may reduce your ability to get your own loan, access credit, and maintain savings.
NB: I will, on a daily basis, answer and respond to any feedback and give you the right financial literacy to issues that may be bothering you in this field.

@Lutaaya56013154 Have the courage to ask the wright questions to guide your decision making. Let’s be responsible borrowers
English

ASK THE LOAN OFFICER THE QUESTIONS BELOW BEFORE BORROWING FROM THE BANK OR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION:
1. Interest rate:Ask for the exact rate, whether it’s fixed or variable, and how it’s calculated.
2. Total cost of the loan:
Not just the principal—ask how much you’ll pay in total over the full period.
3. Repayment schedule: Clarify how often you’ll pay (monthly, weekly) and the exact due dates.
4. Loan term (duration):
How long you have to repay and how that affects your total cost.
5. Fees and hidden charges: Ask about processing fees, insurance, penalties, and any administrative
costs.
6. Early repayment policy: Can you pay off the loan early? Are there penalties or discounts?
7. Late payment penalties: What happens if you miss or delay a payment? How much will it cost?
8. Collateral requirements: Do you need to pledge assets? What exactly is at risk if you default?
9. Loan conditions and restrictions: Any rules on how you must use the money or other obligations.
10. Grace period: Whether there’s any time before repayments start.
11. Default consequences: What happens legally and financially if you fail to repay.
12. Insurance requirements: Some loans require insurance—ask what it covers and how much it costs.
13. Currency and exchange risk (if applicable): Especially important if the loan is in a foreign currency.
14. Your ability to repay: Talk honestly about your income stability and whether the repayments are
realistic.
15. Lender’s reputation: Ask others about their experience with the institution—customer service, fairness, and transparency. @regesa

The Leader of Opposition (LoP) Joel Ssenyonyi has indicated that the decision by the former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) whip in Parliament Yusuf Nsibambi to cross to the National Resistance Movement (NRM) does not weaken the opposition.
Ssenyonyi remarks come weeks after the Mawokota South legislator Nsibambi together with a section of opposition politicians held a closed-door meeting with President Museveni at State House. Whereas the details of the meeting have not been made public by the State House press office, Nsibambi has repeatedly alleged that the closed-door discussions focused on addressing the plight of opposition leaders jailed across various detention centres.
The opposition has severally denied and distanced itself from Nsibambi’s allegations, with Ssenyonyi now indicating that Nsibambi’s crossover to NRM relieves the opposition of the pretentious character of the said legislator.

Gen Saleh (Rtd) to Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago. Dear Brother, I'm very offended by what you have said about me. I have withdrawn all the support I have been giving you in your fights until you apologise. Like Archbishop Ssemwogerere said,"obulimba nobukyayi, #Uganda yakusabila"

I have realised that no matter what we do in a game there will always be ridiculous comments about it. If you think our wheels are falling off because we have drawn a game then you are in for a shock. We have only lost 5 times in our last 51 Premier League games. At least come up with a better argument.
Every week I hear how tough it is to play against 10 men, the moment we do it though, it's apparently easy and we are crap because we couldn't win the game. It's honestly funny watching the mental gymnastics from some people.
We have had a tougher week than any other team, mentally and physically. I mean this with the most respect to the teams I mention, but Man City played Leeds, Chelsea played Burnley, and Liverpool played West Ham and Forest.
The reality is we are in a better position now than we were a week ago with these games now out of the way, but some of you are so thick you can't even see it. We were 4 points ahead of Man City, it's now 5 points, we were 8 points clear of Liverpool, it's now 9 points, and we remain 6 points clear of Chelsea.
Keep praying for our downfall. It will make it even more glorious come May.
