🚨 National Record Alert: Tejaswin breaks the decathlon national record! Tejaswin Shankar finished 1st at the David Noble Relays, shattering India’s decathlon national record with 7947 points. He registered lifetime bests in four events: 100m: 10.59s, Long Jump: 7.66m, Shot Put: 13.98m and Pole Vault: 4.35m (huge PB) He also clocked a lifetime best of 14.09s in the 110m hurdles, although it was wind-assisted. He narrowly missed the 8000-point mark by just 53 points. This was his outdoor season opener — having already won gold in the heptathlon at the Asian Indoor Championships earlier this year.
