@littletazalisha Thanks so much, Alisha. You're right. The first two books give background information about the asteroid colonies and have loose connections to some characters. The next book, The Homesteaders, is a true sequel, following the plot and the characters.

@NathanJonesBook It's become part of the culture there. Somehow, the restaurant owners have convinced them they are cheap if they don't tip. Imagine bank owners trying to convince people to tip their tellers or they're cheap? Or cashiers? Or mechanics?

Writing this afternoon and I used the analogy: Sick as a dog. WHAT does this even mean? WHY was the dog sick? WHO made this dog sick? WHERE was the dog sick? WHEN was the dog sick? I really need the answers tho, and I'm sick as a dog, so I can't look it up... 🤣😩

Impressions: I like Mastadon better than Counter Social so far. On Mastadon, you become part of a cozy group but yet you can venture out into the broader community. I think it's the best place for writers to connect.

@EdgeOErin1 It's like email. There's a bunch of different servers but you can still correspond with each other. If you're in gmail, you have easier access to other gmail accounts, though.
