@Luke96278769 @NIH This really is question for NIAID/NIH about its studies, but it would appear the distinction is TLD is available for BET-B and not yet available for BET-A and BET-C. Full results to be published by NIAID/NIH in a peer-reviewed journal at a future date.

It's as if medicine agencies still haven't come to terms with the fact that SARS-CoV2 evolves ca 2.5x faster than the fastest evolving influenza strain. And that vaccine updates would have to be made twice as fast then as for influenza... twitter.com/trvrb/status/1…

My main point was really how fast evolution has been proceeding. We see that SARS-CoV-2 variants have (1) displaced existing genetic diversity and (2) accumulated amino acid changes in the relevant domain much faster than seen in the fastest seasonal flu subtype H3N2. 2/13
