As evidenced by the unbridled promotion and implementation of technology at the expense of human dignity, we are truly experiencing an eclipse of the sense of what it means to be human. It is imperative to recover an understanding of the true meaning and grandeur of humanity as intended by God. It is in this sense that the challenge we currently face is not technological, but anthropological, and it is my hope that the Encyclical Letter to be published within a few days will contribute to answering this challenge.

Scientists mapped a piece of brain the size of half a grain of rice.
One-millionth the size of the human brain.
It took them a year and over 1.4 million gigabytes to scan it.
They found over 57,000 cells, 150 million synapses, and even some new structures they didn't know existed.
Mapping the entire human brain in this level of detail would require all the data storage generated on Earth in a year + a 140-acre data center.
But the human brain itself can hold up to ~2.5 million gigabytes of information - enough for ~3 million hours of HD video or 342 years of continuous viewing.
It can process roughly 10 quadrillion calculations per second - enough processing power to run over 4,000 high-end gaming PCs all operating at peak ability.
And it only runs on the amount of power needed for a single dim light bulb.
No technology even comes close to doing what the brain can do.
The more we learn about biology, the more complex it becomes.
This is God's Glory on display.

First look image from Mel Gibson’s Resurrection of the Christ. Gibson’s Resurrection of the Christ delayed until May 6, 2027. “This film represents a major part of my life’s work, and it has demanded everything of me as a filmmaker and as an artist. This is far more than a film to me. It’s a mission I’ve carried for over 20 years to tell what I believe is the most important story in human history.”

Hell Grind: when AI cinema finally becomes watchable
@higgsfield dropped the trailer for Hell Grind and on May 21 they are bringing the full film to the market in Cannes. The Kazakh directors who have been locked in Higgsfield's basements for the past few months are the ones behind it.
We are not the people who throw around "this will change the industry" - we have heard it for two years on every release from Midjourney to Sora. This one is different. You can actually sit through the trailer without your brain switching to it is AI, let me see where the seams break.
Before this trailer and the first 22 minutes, the doubt that an AI film could be watched as a film was still rational. After it, the argument falls apart. This footage looks like a trailer. No disclaimer needed.
What happens when the full feature comes out? We think the answer is obvious - it is time to rethink the classic approach to making creative work. ASAP.
