The reason why Korra cried here is because she was physically broken and traumatized by her near-death experience which made her feel deeply insecure. During Jinora's airbending master ceremony,Tenzin announced that the newly formed Air Nation would take over the Avatar's duties while she recovered, which made her feel like she was an obsolete and useless avatar who couldn’t fulfill her duties.
I'm a nerd ☆@Im_a_nerd__

Am I the only one or was anyone else confused about why Korra cried in this scene?

Back when I was in private practice doing EP/Probate work, one of the biggest disconnects I noticed between the old people coming in to do wills and the children coming in to have wills processed was the attitude towards the Stuff

“No, you don’t understand, boomers are actually really frugal, they never eat out and always pack a lunch, they definitely never do anything stupid with their disposable income, also their houses are full of consumer products that they’ve hoarded over the years for some reason.”

Subnautica 2 devs say "go play Sons of the Forest" if you don't like its lack of violence. The game focuses on underwater exploration, and you cannot kill most creatures. On the official Discord, one player asked why killing is impossible in SN2 as it makes no sense. Level designer Artyom O’Rielly replied, “This is not a killing game, so go play Sons of the Forest if you want to kill.” Another developer said, “The team discusses this a lot inside the studio and may let players catch small fish for food, but large creatures will stay safe so the game feels right.” This idea comes from the first Subnautica, as the team wants players to discover things, feel wonder, and live with ocean life instead of fighting it. A fan-made mod already lets players kill creatures, and the studio is reading all feedback. It plans to add better ways to scare off creatures but will not add weapons. Early access is expected to last up to 3 years.

@Pferdinand98 According to the ai on the ship weapons lead to fights which leads to downtime in production so no weapons are allowed on frontier ships and why would you need them when your destination is a desert world with no animal life

@AlejandroCence2 More truckers and less doctors I honestly think medical school should be free still as rigorous if not more but make it free so anyone who wants to can try. I’m sure the idea of half a million in debt is a big stopping factor for plenty of people who would like to go

The research behind this is wild. Your kitchen sponge has the same density of bacteria as human stool. German scientists found 54 billion bacterial cells per cubic centimeter inside used sponges in 2017. Yours is sitting right next to your sink. Sponges are the perfect home for bacteria. They are wet, warm, full of food bits, and never fully dry between washes. Across all 14 sponges, the team found 362 different types of bacteria. The most common species include strains that can make people sick. In 2011, the public health group NSF International swabbed 30 things in 22 American homes. The dirtiest object in the entire house was the kitchen sponge. It was dirtier than the toilet seat. 75% of the sponges tested positive for the kind of bacteria that includes Salmonella and E. coli. Microwaving does not clean the sponge. The 2017 study found microwaved sponges had higher amounts of the smelliest, most harmful bacteria. Heat kills the weak strains. The strong ones survive and refill the sponge with no competition for space. A 2021 Norwegian study compared kitchen sponges to dish brushes. In brushes, Salmonella was wiped out within three days because the bristles dry out between uses. In sponges, bacteria climbed to about a billion cells per sponge. The lead researcher told CNN that one kitchen sponge can hold more bacteria than there are people on Earth. Three things actually work. Switch to a dish brush, because brushes dry fully between uses while sponges stay wet for hours. Replace your sponge every one to two weeks. Never leave it sitting wet in the sink. Norway and Denmark already do this by default, but most other countries don't. The detergent is fine. Your sponge is the problem.
