@sama That may be weird but I’ve always found regular GPT 5.1 or 5.2 with high reasoning more accurate than gpt-codex models. Using in Codex CLI

@usgraphics Claude Code was truly amazing piece of software until I found out that Codex is just... simpler. Which makes it more amazing. No unknown words, straightforward terminal interface. This makes the "less bloated" feeling in terms of software

@CEOofFuggy @huacnlee gpui seems like a good candidate, but for the adoption of such technologies (not even mentioning pushing electron out of the business) we would wait at least 15 years

As most of my personal website is monochrome I was wondering how to display project's thumbnails in the cards Turns out a grayscale overlay + clip‑path grid that reveals the color image underneath works great. Subtle? Yes, but way less boring than a regular fade.

@iyoushetwt Unless you play highly competitive games like CoD where every ms of latency matters - you don't need Windows for gaming. I've been using GeForce Now for about a year and I no longer need a PC - playing games at 4K HDR on my MacBook (mostly Warframe now) with 11ms ping

There will be loads of hate for the RSC (already visible on X) after that. Sadly no one will talk about perfect execution of the mitigation strategies across various PaaS and cloud providers before the vulnerability was publicly disclosed
React@reactjs

There is critical vulnerability in React Server Components disclosed as CVE-2025-55182 that impacts React 19 and frameworks that use it. A fix has been published in React versions 19.0.1, 19.1.2, and 19.2.1. We recommend upgrading immediately. react.dev/blog/2025/12/0…

@thesegunadebayo @chakra_ui Huge congrats @thesegunadebayo and all the people involved. I’ve been using chakra since day 1 as the primary components library in MANY projects. Today I prefer @zag_js and Tailwind as more granular approach though Chakra will always have special place in my heart

Chakra UI just crossed 40,000 GitHub stars 🌟 What started as a "quick" side project is now used by 4M+ developers worldwide each month 🥳 I'm so grateful to everyone who has stayed with us on this journey ❤️ Can't wait to reveal the next chapter of Chakra.

Yeah you can apply this thinking process to every piece of software ever made, but my point wasn’t Next.js preprocessing being bulletproof As someone who worked with Next.js for years, this preprocessing was a thing that always worked well. And this may create assumption that it was done right this time as well.

“An idiot admires complexity, a genius admires simplicity, a physicist tries to make it simple, for an idiot anything the more complicated it is the more he will admire it, if you make something so clusterfucked he can't understand it he's gonna think you're a god cause you made it so complicated nobody can understand it.” - quote of Terry A. Davis

80% of engineering posts on LinkedIn are just basic thoughts we all had when we started learning programming I don’t understand why they’re phrased as if they’re some kind of godlike esoteric secret knowledge Terry A. Davis was so right about the simplicity
