The workshop also highlighted the role of HDI’s inclusive health centres in Kicukiro, Nyamirambo, and Rubavu as trusted safe spaces where community members can access respectful care, support, and referrals. Participants called for expanded services, stronger outreach, better information sharing, and deeper collaboration to ensure no one is left behind. Participants discussed persistent barriers communities continue to face, including stigma and discrimination in healthcare settings, limited access to information, and growing operational demands on grassroots organizations supporting gender inclusion and vulnerable communities.
