someone is dumb.. u’re still thinking in symbolic response, not strategic deterrence. “one nuke + warning” sounds measured, but it risks being read as absorbable. deterrence works when cost is unmistakably high. underplay it, and u incentivise repeat escalation, not restraint.

Where did I say no retaliation after nuke. I opposed Defence Attache's irresponsible statement (if it was true) that if Pakistan drops one nuke we will decimate Pakistan - that requires 20 nukes, if not more. Response should be just one nuke and a stern warning. Btw, if you drop 10 nukes, entire Western India will be suffering from cancer for the next 100 years.

u’re arguing moral purity while ignoring reality. deterrence exists bcs threats exist. saying “no retaliation even after nuke” isn’t compassion, it’s surrender. states act to prevent worse outcomes, not perform virtue. empathy without strategy ignores consequences.

Don't talk shit based on hypothetical situations. If a person in respectable position like Defence Attache really said this, it is absolutely deplorable. Jingoism may help BJP electorally, will not help the nation moving forward.
Now here is a hypothetical situation: If Iran procures atom bomb and drops on the US, or North Korea drops on US - do you think Iran or North Korea will be decimated?
Are you effing out of your mind? Of course, US will drop a nuke on them as reciprocal action....and immeditely stop there and issue stern warning to Iran/N Korea. No responsible nation wants to kill innocent civilians, even of enemy nation, for fun.

Apart from Kashmir, most other regions where Shaivism-Shaktism were prominent never developed a high philosophy integrated with logic, rituals, metaphysics and ontology.
The Shaivism-Shaktism of Punjab, Himachal, Bengal etc is very “folk pagan religion” tier. (Nothing wrong with it per se)
