today i decided to experiment with the leftover clams & make a malaysian-style spaghetti alle vongole. i swapped the chilli for sambal belacan & finished it with spring onions instead of parsley
it turned out just how i imagined: funky, oceanic, briny, spicy & full of umami ~

@hatehate4lif3 yesss of course !! it wouldn’t be claypot rice without the crust ^.^ you can see in the third pic the bottom of the bowl with the crunchy rice layer

@ilovemcgriddle Super crunchy and incredibly juicy.
They have a mild, gentle sweetness and a texture close to a very crisp pear. Because they are mostly water, they are the perfect refreshing snack for a hot day out here.

@irlzeldas yummmm my grandma used to always have sugared roses and violets ! i loved to snack on them as a kid
