You know what Tilak Varma’s biggest problem is? The way he starts his innings. He plays so many dot balls at the beginning, it’s become a clear pattern. If he manages to fire up after that, the knock ends up looking absolutely incredible. But if he doesn’t click, the whole thing is a big failure. He drags the team into a pressure cooker with that slow start, then tries to force the pace and ends up getting out. Look at almost all his knocks, the first 20-30 balls follow the exact same script. Yes, he finishes some innings brilliantly, but taking nearly 30 balls to get going is a serious question mark, especially when the team is already under immense pressure because of it. That slow ignition always costs his team.

My parents, who refused to listen to me, ended up going to Kedarnath and it turned into one of the worst experiences of their lives. The roads are pathetic. The infrastructure is a joke. The system feels rotten to the core. If you do not pay ₹2500 per person, you are left standing in an 11-hour queue. The 22 km pedestrian stretch itself takes around 11 hours. And while ordinary people are suffering, two IPS officers apparently got themselves special access, as usual. Helicopter only available on paper! If someone cannot afford to pay their way out, they can easily be stuck for 30 to 40 hours. Even after bribing your way through every single official, the wait time from base camp to the city is still around 4 hours. At most places, there is 0/ zero/ nada/ zilch safety. No proper inflow-outflow management. Every minute feels like a stampede waiting to happen. Pandits are asking ₹6000 to ₹8000 for “prasad.” The roads are full of potholes. The entire system is a disgrace. Idk what can be done, but if this is Kedarnath, God must be angry. And people responsible for upkeep of it are dying like pigs in slaughterhouses! Whoever is responsible for this mismanagement should be dragged into public accountability, not allowed to hide behind religion, power or bureaucracy. Hindus probably deserve better

They have weird pride in bending over for nationalistic interests. Truly weird people - no other state's people behave like this; they balance nationalism with regionalism. Some even think speaking Marathi is vernacular
