I got my first @LilPudgys 1004 days ago.
It was only supposed to be for a quick flip but somehow this specific one landed in my wallet.
I saw myself in it. Tool belt for the engineer in me, party hat as a [retired] party girl, purple bg as my fave color and the red that matches the name. I just couldn’t let it go and probably never will.

this dude 5x'd his conversion rate by making his onboarding LONGER. like way wayyyy longer! went from 20 screens (3% trial conversion) to a 10-15 minute onboarding flow (15% trial conversion). his app now does $40K/month. the psychology: loss aversion. by the time users hit the paywall, they've already invested 10+ minutes answering questions about themselves. they think "might as well give it a shot." every screen before the paywall is just building the case for why you should pay. an app is nothing more than a sales funnel.

I would typically not speak on things like this, but this level of blatant copycatting is egregious and completely unacceptable, and needs to be made an example of.
This is one of hundreds of YC startups who have conducted this disgusting behavior. Unimaginative slop that continues to get rewarded due to nepotism.

Remember when I mentioned @nounsdao was dead?
Yes, the group that took over the DAO implemented a 2.8 ETH minimum for the daily nouns auctions since April 24th. They actually managed to sell 3 nouns at 2.8 ETH each for the first 3 days and since then not a single noun has been minted.
What a ridiculous way to end the social experiment and prove that DAOs are one of the dumbest things we've come up with in crypto.
