@RoadsideMum I don't know where you are based, but Ightham Mote in Kent (National Trust) and Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire (privately owned) are two of my favourite historic houses if LO is still looking.

@zacbeattie @Will_Overman I had a full hip replacement at 48 following a failed arthroscopy. Best thing I did. Recovery was great and exercising/sport is now pain free. Did loads of prehab and 3wks post surgery was walking for an hour a day for fitness.

Is there a word for people who use politeness as a weapon? Poised to pounce on anyone who doesn’t say please/thank you and aggressively pull them up on it, being twice as impolite in the process. It’s obviously rude but people seem to get away with it all the time. Needs defining
