The question. On everyone’s mind:
What’s the better #PSL, Pumpkin Spice Latte, or Pearson Specter Litt?

@djbip1986 @acoyne If people *only* had those concerns about inflation, you’d have a point.
But given people whined about costs of things when inflation was sub 2%, their whining about prices carry no merit.
English

@djbip1986 @acoyne I’m not the one whining that streaming will get more expensive.
Good luck trying to get something for nothing
English

@djbip1986 @acoyne It says, “I don’t care about people whining about cost, because that’s all they ever do.” Whining about paying more adds nothing.
“Wolf,” cried the boy.
English

@djbip1986 @acoyne But it’s not. Look at streaming in general. Everybody mass moved off of cable to got streaming because it was supposed to be cheaper. It’s not. We got sold a bill of goods.
I shed no tears.
We get what we deserve because we don’t want to pay the true cost of anything
English

@djbip1986 @acoyne It might be a “gross simplification” but it’s also true.
People don’t want to pay for anything.
I challenge you to prove otherwise
English

@djbip1986 @acoyne Bah. Nobody wants to pay for anything.
Everyone has champagne tastes but wants ginger ale prices
English

@acoyne The CRTC was built for an era when spectrum was ltd & what Cdns watched or listened to was on airwaves on that spectrum. Now, the CRTC does more harm than good. Streaming services won’t pay the increased Cancon contribution — consumers will via price increases.
English

@kevinolearytv When you go into something preparing for what to do if it fails, don’t go into that something.
English

Everyone’s talking about NYC lawmakers potentially adding $250k to the state budget to help cover security costs for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, but honestly, I’m just happy for them. This is going to be the wedding of the season. And since everyone else is contributing, I figured I would too with one of my Shark Tank companies, @HelloPrenup . I will happily provide the prenup for free. Because yes, even when there’s love, you still get the prenup.
English

@ABFreePress @TheBreakdownAB @ABDanielleSmith Still waiting for someone to tell me what happens to those who chose to stay if a referendum says “separate”
English

This is factually incorrect.
@ABDanielleSmith is being attacked for letting hundreds of thousands of Albertans have their voices heard on a referendum — even though she’s clearly stated she wants Alberta to stay in Canada.
That’s not weakness. That’s democratic leadership.
Giving an apparent minority of hundreds of thousands of Albertans is what a good Premier should do, even if she disagrees with them.

@PierrePoilievre Liberals will never put Canadians first
They will never support any conservative motion
English

Mark Carney is instructing his lawyers not to put property rights first in court. He is signing deals with First Nations that do not protect homeowners.
He is in B.C. today. Time for him to reverse course. Do the right thing and support the Conservative motion to put private property first in B.C. and everywhere: conservative.ca/cpc/protect-pr…

@MetamateDaz @Charron7915 Capitalism does not exist
We don’t *really* believe in it, because true capitalism leads to monopoly power, and we fight that at every turn
English

@RichardCityNews @stcrawford2 Same Conservative/Republican refrain.
The only thing that matters is the economy. Everything else takes a back seat
If it was up to them, we’d all work until we die
English

NEW - Ontario retailers can open for business this Victoria Day Monday. But what about employees who were looking forward to a day off? “No one is going to force them to work" Minister @stcrawford2 tells me. But the opposition worry workers could still face pressure to show up. toronto.citynews.ca/2026/05/15/ret…
English

@dnSabine @kinsellawarren If you don’t want to be in Canada, why don’t you move away?
And in the same note, what if separation wins, and the City of Edmonton votes to stay?
How do you reconcile those things?
English

@kinsellawarren Who is wrecking Canada?
The answer is in Ottawa, not Edmonton.
English

She's a separatist and a Canada-wrecker. She's loathsome.
Courtney Theriault@cspotweet
BREAKING: Premier Danielle Smith says that while her government supports Alberta staying in Canada, she will be appealing a court decision that quashed a possible separatist petition/referendum.
English

@Awesome_dogs @PierrePoilievre We don’t get that kind of talk, though.
Just “regulations = bad”
Regulations also ensure safety and other things
Perhaps more clarity from the CPC leader would be beneficial
English

@isnhhb @PierrePoilievre Analogy: We have pre-approved building plans. The “catalogue.” Builders don’t need approval (already done) reduces costs & time. Many systems, in many industries, you could have regulations without unnecessary approvals. Suggestions should be screened, but it’s good idea.
English

Prime Minister, we don't need another photo op, or a higher industrial carbon tax that makes Canada’s energy sector less competitive.
Get moving and green-light a pipeline to the Pacific to get shovels in the ground by Christmas: conservative.ca/cpc/more-canad…

English

@dman0067 @PierrePoilievre Good question.
That doesn’t excuse Poilievre mind you, but it is a valid point
English

@isnhhb @PierrePoilievre What is the environmental information involved in the Liberal statement "Build, Baby, Build"?
English

@dman0067 @PierrePoilievre Because he’s the one saying he wants to just develop more, without any discourse on side effects.
English

Today, Mark Carney re-announced the same Liberal policies that hiked electricity prices by a third and cut production over the last decade: industrial carbon taxes, the anti-development law, the failed Infrastructure Bank, tax credits that businesses do not use, and, of course, more consultations and talk about doing something someday.
More cost, more delays, more of the same. He’s just another Liberal.
The Liberal government has made history: they are now the first government ever to preside over a Canadian electricity shortfall.
In 2024, for the first time on record, Canada could not produce enough electricity for its own people without U.S. imports.
After a decade of Liberals, Canadians are paying 35% more for electricity. Repeating the same grand promises is all an illusion.

@Pat_F_11 @Oilersfan_91 @TSN_Sports Watch the play again
It’s not a split second
Puck is clearly gone. Zero situational awareness by the player throwing the hit.
Careless. Reckless. Dangerous.
If players can’t “not throw the hit” in that situation, then they shouldn’t play
English

@isnhhb @Oilersfan_91 @TSN_Sports Split second late hits happen all the time, this was unfortunate cuz his head hit the boards……it’s a fluke that almost never happens. You expect the league to change rules cuz of a fluke play that wouldn’t result in an injury 99.99% of the time
