All the songs I’ve been making have been at least 5.5 minutes long and filled with progressions and tons of melodic elements. Trying to make music that’s more of an experience now than just a beat. Music that makes you feel on an emotional level is what got me into this art form

Even though without a doubt Ultra was about 5 DB’s quieter this year than usual, the music was the best it’s ever been in my experience. I’m so inspired after last weekend.

sometimes you feel so disconnected from your own life that instead of reconnecting you drown in your sorrows running away/drugs feels like a life vest keeping you afloat but its a life vest made of concrete that will eventually sink you therapy taught me that that feeling is simply a part of life and the only way out of it is to identify the root cause and address it sometimes we feel like were the only ones going through things and that no one is like us, that no one has felt the way were feeling, its so refreshing to talk to people that have been through it and made it out, you realize its all a mentality, your learn that thoughts are just thoughts and you don’t have to materialize them all, it’s not easy but it starts with stopping the things you do that make you feel like you’re a bad person and reconnecting with the thing that make you feel like a good person, and once you start down. that path you see how many more things you can erase and how many more you can replace them with till you’re left with a life that you want, feeling the way you want, in control, at peace was just on my mind and thought id share what i learned in case anyone was feeling the same anyways happy wednesday ily
