@prateek_ripaw when people say ai regarding kanye.. they are talking about him using an ai voice filter to turn reference tracks of other artists into his own voice. is that correct ?

@Whats_the_dirt Can we stop this. Gnx is objectively a good album. It’s fun. And has a lot of good tracks. And good production. Iceman is also objectively good. The only critique with iceman is that it’s way too heavy on beef rehashing. but, that’s what Drake is going through so it fits.

We can’t be serious in comparing these. ICEMAN clears by every single metric. GNX was slapped together to capitalize off a moment with mid tier production and terrible features. Then shoved down people’s throats through nefarious bot activity.

@TheMindOfHY Brother.. if you haven’t heard choosing Texas, or don’t have friends that listen to it.. the problem is you. Hip hop Stans are more isolated to their genre than pop gays. That song is huge.

The #1 song is meaningless now. Drake is set to go number one this week with his song, "Ran to Atlanta," with Future and Molly Santana. And congratulations to him. He deserves it. This isn't a knock to that song specifically, but just take a look at the number one this week.. "Choosin Texas" by Ella Langley. The majority of you have probably never listened to this song, maybe have never even heard this artist, or possibly you have heard the song somewhere, but didn't know who made it, and that's criminal for a number one. What a number one is supposed to represent is everybody, everywhere, damn near, or the majority of people in the United States, have heard this song and know the artist. That's something that is happening with songs that are not hitting number one. For example, late last year, Kid Cudi's "Mowie Wowie" started blowing up and hit the Hot 100 for the first time, peaking at #71. This was due to a challenge of people hanging off the crosswalk sign. Now, some people will joke around and find it corny or lame, but we all heard "Mowie Wowie" again, whether it was due to the challenge or somebody we know was playing it. "Mowie Wowie" spread throughout culture further than number one songs are spreading. The same can be said about "Wish" for Trippie Redd. A #1 now is really just how much radio spins are they putting into it. Then (few, and key word very few) of the songs catch on organically after that, but with these TikTok trends, these songs are organically spreading and chosen by the people, especially if it's an old song that was never a hit in the first place.

Just to put things into perspective for y’all: Fucking Michael Jackson sold 360k first week while being in a legal battle against SONY. Drake is in a battle against UMG, spent the entire album dissing his own label, and is about to do over 400k first week. History.

I think "Ran to Atlanta" is just like when drake said "Kendrick just opened his mouth someone go hand him a Grammy right now"😂. Kendrick has won 10 Grammys post beef more than Jcole & Drake combined. Kendrick said "You run to Atlanta when you need a few dollars, no you're not a colleague you're a f**king colonizer". Atlanta has showed their loyalty to drake, discrediting what Kendrick said and drake will go on collaborating , Cosigning, putting on and making more hits with atlanta artists 😂
Kurrco@Kurrco

Drake’s “Ran To Atlanta” (ft. Future & Molly Santana) is now predicted to debut at #1 on the Hot 100 🏆 It would become... ▫️ Drake’s 14th #1, breaking his current tie with Michael Jackson for the most #1 tracks among solo male artists ▫️ Molly Santana’s first Hot 100 entry & first #1 ▫️ Future’s 4th #1 and 3rd with Drake (via @ChartPredicts)

🧊 Drake’s ICEMAN Day 2: -49% drop. Taylor Swift’s Life of a Showgirl Day 2: -44% drop. A pure RAP album running parallel to pop’s biggest 2025 release, on a platform algorithmically built to favor pop. 70M filtered streams. From a man fighting the machine. The 🐐 back. 💎

Drake reportedly fulfilled his UMG contract with the release of his three new albums, per Hits Daily Double: "And if, as we’re hearing, this troika of albums fulfills Drake’s contract with UMG, it sure feels like a win-win for both parties. The artist’s fabulously successful catalog is said to be remaining with Universal."
