@ErnestOnPT Having worked in sunway area, I can assure you the worst kind of “middle of nowhere” is actually a location like Taylor’s lakeside which has zero public mass transport access and forces everyone to go there by car and in turn causing congestion around the area.

Economic arguments can be made for building Malaysian universities in the middle of nowhere to spur development but when most students don’t or can’t drive, we risk reinforcing the idea that owning motor vehicles is a need rather than a choice, which is far worse A short thread:

@aevanko To me, it reminds me of all the things people had that were destroyed by wars and conflicts around the world. It’s catchy and harmless until you see the same kind of destruction a missile can do to a piano in some Ukrainian or Palestinian town, and wonder the fates of its owners
