The football impact of Jaxson Dart’s decision to introduce POTUS depends on the health of the Giant’s organization culture. The locker room is like any other workplace. Employees have different religious and political affiliations. However, in the league there is an openness and willingness to engage with those who think differently. Success on the field is often the direct result of trust and transparency between the lines and beyond. Every team member has the right to believe what they want and support who they want and a responsibility to do so in a way that honors their convictions and respects the other members. Whether it was Trump or Biden a healthy culture is transparent enough to be unfazed by the outside noise and committed enough to address any concerns internally. - Harbaugh’s first culture test. For those who didn’t want to read all that: Dart’s decision was his. Some teammates will question others will support but delivering the ball on time and converting 3rd down is more important. They know him, we don’t.

Another overwhelmingly great success at the farmers market today - the first picture was taken at 8:09 a.m., the market was packed and our farmers sold out by 10:30/11:00! Not to worry - because weather permitting we will be back next week with more farmers and we are expecting Mississippi tomatoes 🍅 next time! Thanks to everyone who came out to the High Street Market in Jackson and our new Genuine MS Market in Brandon. Next Saturday 8-12! Have a great Memorial Day weekend everyone - Let’s keep supporting our farmers and our local food supply.

The rumored 60-day ceasefire — with the belief that Iran will ever engage in good faith — would be a disaster. Everything accomplished by Operation Epic Fury would be for naught!

Grateful to see the Mississippi House of Representatives working on this important issue. While I was Speaker of the House, we started the discussion on eliminating the income tax, and today that has become a reality. Now, we’ve started the discussion on property tax reform. As governor, I will work with the legislature and leaders like @JasonWhiteMS to deliver meaningful property tax relief for Mississippians.
Jason White@JasonWhiteMS

This week, the House Select Committee on Property Tax convened to hear from the Department of Revenue and receive an overview of Mississippi's Property Tax system. This Select committee, Co-Chaired by Representative @tlamar44 and Representative @RepShaneBarnett, will examine all aspects of the Mississippi Property Tax system and work to find ways to reduce the tax burden on Mississippians. The Mississippi House of Representatives led the charge to eliminate the personal income tax in Mississippi, and we will lead the charge to reduce real property taxes and reduce car tag fees.

Come visit our farmers and see what all the excitement is about TOMORROW! This Saturday morning, May 23rd, 8-12 at the Brandon Amphitheater! Ag Commissioner Andy Gipson Announces Brandon Amphitheater as New Location for Genuine MS® Farmers Market in Brandon Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson announced the Genuine MS® Farmers Market in Brandon will move to a new location beginning Saturday, May 23, following an overwhelming response to the market’s opening weekend. The seasonal market will now be held at the Brandon Amphitheater, located at 8190 Rock Way in Brandon. “Due to the incredibly positive public response, which drew large crowds and quickly exceeded parking capacity, we are excited to relocate the Genuine MS® Farmers Market to the Brandon Amphitheater,” said Commissioner Gipson. “I want to thank Mayor Butch Lee for his vision and invitation to help meet the needs of farmers and local shoppers in the Rankin County area. This move will also allow the market to grow by adding more vendors as we head into the summer season.” Brandon Mayor Butch Lee welcomed the market to the new location. “The city of Brandon is pleased to welcome the Genuine MS® Farmers Market to the Brandon Amphitheater. Due to the overwhelming success, and large crowds at the Co-op, and for traffic safety and convenience of the public, we are hosting the farmers market at the Brandon Amphitheater every Saturday at 8am. We look forward to seeing everyone there,” said Mayor Lee. Commissioner Gipson also thanked the Rankin County Co-op for hosting the market’s opening day. “We appreciate the Rankin County Co-op for helping make the market’s opening a tremendous success, and we look forward to partnering with the Co-op on future special events,” said Commissioner Gipson. “For now, we invite everyone to come buy what’s fresh each Saturday at the new amphitheater location, weather permitting.” The move is expected to benefit both vendors and shoppers by providing improved access, additional parking and expanded vendor opportunities. “Our farmers will be able to offer more produce, meat and dairy products, honey, fruits, vegetables, plants and specialty foods, creating more opportunities for farmers and residents to connect,” Commissioner Gipson said. “I enjoy seeing communities strengthened when farmers and families support one another. We need to continue building local markets that provide local food for local people.” The seasonal market features local vendors offering Genuine Mississippi products that are grown, raised and processed in Mississippi. Weather permitting, the market will operate every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon through October at the new location. “We encourage the public to continue supporting this unique farmers market each Saturday,” said Commissioner Gipson. “Thank you to everyone who supported our farmers during the market’s opening weekend. We’re just getting started.” Producers interested in selling Mississippi-grown or Mississippi-raised products at the Genuine MS® Farmers Market this season may contact the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce at farmersmarket@mdac.ms.gov or 601-354-6573. ###
