$AMC looks like dilution might delay AMC again. It lost my level. I am putting it on the back burner until late may june now. $BYND still is fine to me. Would like it to start moving by tonight or for sure by tomorrow morning. The stupid GME drama also not helping AMC most likely

Lets take a step back. This isn't dilution, or management, that causes a stock to flatline for over two years. The company has significantly reduced debt, box office is recovering, the narrative regarding streaming has changed. What I see when I look at this chart is a stock price that has been suppressed, though various mechanisms, including but not limited to market maker short exemptions and typical 70% of more of trades occurring in dark pools. Which, as a company where at one point, the majority of shareholders were retail, shouldn't happen. This is not rocket science. Retail trades in odd lots. Odd lots can be handled by lit exchanges. Dark pools are for large intuitional trades. When you see a large volume day where the price doesn't change and over 70% of the volume is in dark pools, its funds wash trading, or adjusting swaps, or what not. It's not retail. So yeah, nothing in 5 years changed my mind about how the price has been manipulated. I'm now curious how long they can keep it from bursting out. Tik Toc John.

Folks, the 2026 Box Office is on fire. This is the best Box Office run Cinema has seen since COVID & we are just getting started. I’m going to continue to reiterate the following: 2026 will be one of Cinema’s biggest years of our lives. This is such a fantastic time for Cinema.

@ERCboxoffice Successes all around. And we really got a legacy sequel aimed at women, a musical biopic, kids animation, sci-fi comedy book adaptation, and horror. Something for everyone. This is what a good theatrical release calendra should look like.

It is a massive development that Netflix has authorized the wide release on February 12, 2027 in movie theatres globally — so very importantly with a traditional 49-day exclusive theatrical window — of acclaimed director Greta Gerwig’s newest film Narnia. Narnia will also receive some prominent advance screenings only in IMAX auditoriums, of which we have some 225. At AMC, our cooperative efforts with Netflix picked up steam in the back half of 2025, and have been immensely successful. Both AMC in the U.S. and Odeon across Europe will throw everything we have into the mix to support Netflix on this effort. We are in their corner fully. We are and will be all in. It should not be lost on anyone the significance of Netflix trying a real global release of a major film title.

Moonwalking our way to success. With the global debut of MICHAEL, along with strong holdover titles, more than 4.0 million moviegoers attended AMC locations in the U.S., and Odeon Cinemas internationally from Wednesday, April 22, through Sunday, April 26. That’s a thriller!

Enormous congratulations to Graham King, producer of the new smash hit Michael Jackson biopic movie MICHAEL, and to its distributors Lionsgate (domestically) and Universal (internationally). Graham believes moviemakers should give audiences what they want; namely, movies that entertain, amuse and delight… movies that are meant to be seen in theatres on giant screens. Michael so very much fills that bill. It is an important and successful movie that has moviegoers singing and dancing with their praise. Graham is a prolific producer with about twenty movies under his belt, including the multiple Oscar winning films of such consequence: Bohemian Rhapsody, The Aviator and The Departed.

It’s #SINNERS all over again at US #BoxOffice, but BIGGER, as insane walk ups made music biopic #MICHAEL EXPLODE, at the moment crushing #Oppenheimer’s 33M setting a new FRI Opening Day RECORD for biopics and potentially becoming the first BIOPIC EVER to cross the 40M mark on Opening Day alone included previews! It’s already more than doubling #SINNERS opening Day. What’s more, #MICHAEL’s Opening Day alone isn’t that far from matching #SINNERS’ whole opening weekend. Not only that, it’s by far the BIGGEST Opening Day of 2026, crushing #TheSuperMarioGalaxyMovie’s 34.5M, and #6 BIGGEST EVER for an APR release, smashing #CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier’s 36.9M Opening Day all the back in 2014. As you might remember, since pre-sales day one, I’ve been mentioning how the black demo and the not habitual moviegoer could supercharge walk ups if they heard good things from fellow moviegoers. It’s HAPPENING! Depending on how SAT pans out, there is now a still small but realistic possibility to see #MICHAEL opening with a 100M+ This weekend could be one of those for the US #BoxOffice history books!
