Because we live in a country that hasn’t deemed it necessary to raise the minimum wage in 26 YEARS. And we are seriously shutting our government down because the Republicans think that we should pay even MORE for healthcare when we are the only developed nation IN THE WORLD that doesn’t provide basic healthcare services for their citizens. @veggie_eric I use it to practice multiple languages at once. Duo is never going to teach me to be fluent, but I like knowing the basics of a few different languages! I practice Spanish, German, French, Japanese, and Ukrainian and try to do most of them daily!

Has anyone actually successfully learned a language using Duolingo Seems like a lot of cute graphics and satisfying sound effects but I'm not buying that it actually works...

Can we talk about how Andor touches on the rightward trend of young people? Leida wanted an arranged marriage and her progressive mother begged her to reconsider. Now she will live her life in a traditional wife/mother role in a conservative family with no voice/power. Willingly.

This is outrageous. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s rule to ban medical debt from credit reports would have removed $49 billion in medical debt and helped nearly 15 million Americans. The Trump Admin is once again siding with the rich and powerful over working people.
