@bestofstarwar pedro did say in one of the interviews published yday or so that he was on set “quite a lot” even when the stunt ppl were, but he also never holds back his praise for them bringing mando to life with him, so ye.

It is highly irregular for stunt performers to share top billing with the lead actor/actress. How often do you think Pedro was actually on screen during the film?

there is literally a scene in THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU where Mando says I wanna take a break and then the film takes a screeching halt to show us him going home to Nevarro to rest. and then it cuts to black before starting the next act. like oh okay

@mattrorabeck they advertised is as an action packed, fun, star wars adventure for the whole family, not packed with lore. why are we all acting like this was supposed to be Andor 2.0? Mandalorian =/= Andor. Saying TMAG is bad because it isn’t Andor is so unserious. duhhh, diff show entirely.

Watching ANDOR and going to MANDALORIAN AND GROUGU is some of the worst whiplash I’ve ever had. Its inoffensiveness is ironically what’s most offensive about it. Just a bland and bloated extended episode of the tv show. This is the first Star Wars movie in SEVEN YEARS.

@joeyscocoa Yeah, I'm saying that the May 4th thing was not going to be a big event showing the whole movie with a bunch of celebrity guests. It was just a sneak preview for early engagement. Now , it probably depends on which area you were at and but those specific theaters that was extra

i understand the complaints about influencers meeting pedro on smugglers run but a lot of those people are speaking from the outside. disney and star wars are literally inviting fans to show screenings and movie premieres! but that doesn’t get enough engagement right ?

@SWPraxeum ppl went in biased with ridiculous expectations of a movie called “The Mandalorian and Grogu”, i wouldn’t put much weight on them. like it was advertised as an action-packed fun family adventure. reading the reviews.. ppl expected like an sw lore treasure trove.. pls. +

The thing is I’m not surprised at all by TMaG ratings The real problem is, if it doesn’t have mass appeal it could kill the future of Star Wars movies If it is successful with little substance, the wrong lessons could be learned and we may never get boundary-pushing films again

@FortniteFNLK not even remotely better. 💀 it’s gonna look so fake in game like all the others. whomever had the idea to make these pen and ink skins when fortnite’s maps etc use an entirely different style … didn’t use the brain they were born with.

@FortniteFNLK cause it looks bad and is gonna look super out of place in game as with all pen and ink skins. movie coming out and this was the one big chance to do something cool and we get w/e this thing is with barely any extras in the bundle. disappointing.

@Nemo19089 it’s not even about the movie. like idk why you’d make that comment about not everyone loving it. the movie’s gonna be amazing. it was never about the movie’s quality lol. i have tickets for 4 screenings already. js many complaining (i didn’t lol but still) have been to events.

@Nemo19089 why are you obsessed with the premiere thing?💀 nobody said anything about that. it was a FAN event. trying to explain that not everyone is made to be an influencer and they can still be dedicated FANS who deserve a chance to experience things & it is frustrating to be sidelined.

@Nemo19089 influencers were waiting inside the imax for the stars to speak and after the preview they had the secret fireworks for the cosplayers, so many of us spent 10+ hours there to not even get a GLIMPSE. this is where the fck influencers mindset among many is coming from. +

@Nemo19089 @realjtlopez then you were very lucky lol, cause most normies were really disappointed by the may 4th fan event. (premlist is VERY good at deleting comments). i was there and well, we didn’t get to see, hear or participate in anything except for the 20min preview.
