If this is true, why has it taken 11 months to realise the error?!? Who do I need to complain to @cottagescom? I’m thinking about The Coronavirus Complaints Service, as I cant see any other reason for cancelling other than to cash in. Or maybe @ABTAtravel?

@cottagescom emailed us last night to inform us that our holiday on the 15th August, booked since LAST SEPTEMBER, has been cancelled due to “Extraordinary booking volumes have caused issues in our IT systems, which in turn have led to some duplicate-bookings occurring.”
