@MikeRStephens @jonnyinsg I think Utd won their treble in an era where competitors were on a broadly better level. Real and Bayern this season aren’t anywhere near their best. Liverpool, Chelsea collapsed. Arsenal and Utd aren’t that good. Utd beat strong Barça, Bayern, Inter and Juve sides in ‘99.

@jonnyinsg We won loads of must win matches last season. Leeds away, Everton at home for example. If either of those games had been lost I doubt we’d have stayed up last year
