Non consensus view. Warsh will cut. He will use the AI Productivity and trimmed inflation excuses. Will claim all the war inflation is transitory. Two data points from today's WSJ support this view. Kevin Hassett, director of the White House National Economic Council, made the same case days earlier on Bloomberg Television. “We’re really likely to see rate cuts this year because of Kevin Warsh,” he said. “Nothing is more transient than a supply shock,” Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on CNBC last week, predicting a substantial easing in price pressures after “one or two more hot inflation numbers.” As Miran points out, inflation occurs with a lag. So, cut, juice the market, run it hot, all to help with the mid terms. My view, war is over. Oil will come down allowing this.

Bitcoin tends to drift down and then violently reprice upwards. The "trend" means nothing.

Your doing that publicly helped to send me down a rabbit hole into understanding options more deeply. Ultimately I got around 2x my cost basis on the calls back by doing that opportunistically throughout the last cycle, at varying degrees of aggressiveness… More recently was selling puts as we chopped around. Probably around a 35% discount on my shares, given the put premiums collected over the past couple months before finally accepting assignment. Gracias Coach. 🙏

@AGratefulApe @dotkrueger I'm not very big into technical analysis, but this observation would seem to match the formation dynamics of a bear or bull flag. I think what's going on is that FOMO kicks in and people lose their minds and then things settle.

@JoshMandell6 @dotkrueger On the third read it clicked ie when the "power" (law) goes out! The power law anchors BTC so if way above we drift up and rapid down, if way below drift down the rapid up. Is this because of OG holders believing in the law or some structural effect of the 21M cap? Then CCs now?

so post 2024 nov - that’s why you were shorting mstr so confidently? we had taken a rocket ship to the top just to walk back down slowly… or were you somehow seeing heavy twap selling/short the few months after mstr topped the way you shorted that still has my jaw on the floor.
