NBC announces that former Hawkeye coach Lisa Bluder will join the broadcast team as a women's basketball College Countdown studio analyst.
Bluder will work Big Ten, Big 12, and Big East games on NBC & Peacock.
She should be terrific.
Bluder retired in 2024 following 24 years at Iowa. She and Caitlin Clark led the Hawkeyes to back-to-back national titles games. Bluder was the 2019 Naismith Coach of the Year

I don’t have a favorite Cyclone player right now, but eight guys are in the running. I’ll explain when I get to Ames later in the season. Jefferson is the closest thing to Georges Niang I can remember. Working on a Chatfield video that will blow away Cyclone fans also.
