@techAU The TC in the AWD LR3 is extremely predictable and effective in an almost boring yet satisfying way. Very consistent, kicks in with just the right amount. Speaking as someone who has spent a large amount of hours in his iRacing simrig, with the old Porsche Cup as the favourite.

The brilliant thing about Tesla's is their traction control. Completely underrated, found in almost no reviews, but is seriously impressive. Despite this car having lots of power, i would feel comfortable giving it to my parents and saying stand on it, know they're not going to lose traction and have the car turn hard left or right. This is something that gets a lot of drivers into trouble in cars that are technically inferior. All the power delivered to the ground, with traction measure and acceleration adjusted dozens of times per second.

I called my car 'Lights'.. as in, good luck at the lights.

@big_mafuta @ev_australia Lol, that's not what my grin said when I properly floored my AWD LR Model 3 for the first time back in 2022. Effing phenomenal drive, and the zero noise means you can get away with it too.

The deep, raw growl of an ice car hits you first— that visceral rumble vibrating through your chest, sending goosebumps racing up your arms and forcing an instant, uncontrollable smile. It’s alive, unpredictable, full of soul. An EV? Silent, smooth… polite. It gets you there, but it never makes your heart race or your face light up the same way.

People who’ve never driven an EV: “Range anxiety bro” People who actually own one: “Yeah man...range anxiety first couple of days. Then... After a week.. "Dude.... I don't even look at the battery percentage anymore!" Opinions vs experience- pick one ⚡

@TechOperator For reference it takes me less than 15 seconds extra to plug in or out as I come home or leave, vs just heading straight inside from the garage or vice versa.

Question for my ICE friends. If it only takes 5 minutes, why not get gas every day so you always have a full tank like I do in my Tesla?

You use GitHub to: a) Keep copies of your code b) Find code that you can use and learn from c) Get the mods for your minecraft server to operate And now you can't access that. Not only can you not contact your friends and socialise as you learned to do, you can't even continue your hobby / education.

Consider this. You’re a 13, 14 or 15 year old in Australia at the end of 2025. You have been on social media for a few years now. You’re responsible. You don’t look at porn. You have never posted anything inappropriate. Your accounts are private. But you use social media - mainly Snap Chat to: - socialise - make arrangements - keep in touch - talk privately - help out your friends - to let your friends help you - check in if you are lost or want to make sure you are in the right spot. - make group chats and calls to socialise even when you are not physically together This way of communicating has become SECOND NATURE These kids don’t ring each other up. There whole world revolves around their socials. What do you think is going to happen when this is ripped away from them? It’s not going to keep them safe. I can tell you that much. It is peak stupidity. Please. Wake up.

@kayosports Thanks for the free trial of 4k. Great Q but on son's PS5 every 5 minutes of my F1 looks like this!? Gigabit wired ethernet, reset the caches from safeboot, reinstalled the app no help. Back to watching it in "potato" on the HTPC desktop, which works. (Cancelled 4k).
