Omani 🇴🇲 Arab man Mr Nasir Al-Rwahi demonstrates how the Swahili language — historically spoken along the East African coast, from Maqdashu to Kongo 🟪🟩🟪 — contains a large amount of Arabic vocabulary. He shows that, to construct simple sentences such as “I am going to the market to eat sweets and drink coffee,” you can use only words of Arabic origin. Do you know of any other examples where simple sentences in Swahili are made up entirely of Arabic-derived words?
