TON is #1 in annual staking rewards among the 50 largest cryptocurrencies.
That’s on top of the coin’s price growth, which doubled this week.

SATO has three prices, not one:
→ Mint price
what the curve charges for new supply, added to the pool, raised on mints, lowered on burns
→ Burn price
what the curve pays for redemption, removing ETH from the pool, lowering on burns, raised on mints
between them, the Market price: uniswap, cex, etc. the curve only acts at the boundaries
→ above mint price
arbitrageurs mint and sell to the market
the curve takes ETH in, gives sato out. ETH stays in the pool. floor is higher and has more ETH now
→ below burn price
arbs buy and redeem.
the curve takes sato in, gives ETH out. but at the inverse curve rate: less per coin than mint price would have charged for the same coin.
each round-trip through the curve is asymmetric.
over many cycles, the pool grows even as the price oscillates. each cycle deepens the floor for whoever is still holding
inside the band: the market does price discovery freely. uniswap, cex, whatever
the curve is the market-maker of last resort, with a bid and an ask. it doesn't compete inside the band. it just defines the band.
this is mining, restated.
cost of production = mint price (set by curve)
redemption value = burn price (set by curve)
secondary market = whatever attention pays
every cross of mint adds ETH that's not coming out except at the cheaper burn rate. the pool only goes one direction: thicker
price action either:
→ breaks out above mint (curve dispenses, pool grows, supply expands, mint price ratchets higher)
→ floors at burn (sells exit at burn price, pool shrinks but at a discount, per-coin backing for survivors grows) both end states leave the floor higher than it started
