For us to build a country of our dreams, we MUST shun the ways of our CORRUPT, UNVISIONARY, and GREEDY leaders. We must create a new dispensation that cares about our generation, and that which comes after us.

I was confident I could of played a major part this summer for my country after the season I’ve had. I’ve been left shocked and gutted by the decision. I’ve loved nothing more than putting that shirt on and representing my country over the years. I wish the players, all the best this summer 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The only problem that truly hit Denis Oliech was a failure by him and those associated with him to manage his money! Financial Literacy issues no other complicated word! Who was his adviser & manager? When you attain a certain level in earning, it's never a money losing venture to engage those who can craft a plan into the future. The best big word I might use to justify Oliech’s predicaments maybe Black Tax. It's one of the things that brings many men down. But at his prime, our boy was eating & hearing good namna hatari. At some point, Lilian Muli is said to be among those who chewed his money mercilessly. I understand that he had to take care of his sick mother, but that's not necessarily the reason why our boy went broke. You see these daughters of Agrippina, they're merciless when it comes to finishing great men. Chesaa!!! He has started consuming Kanamba speciioo. May Yehova Wanyonyi remember our boy during this difiikalt times.🥹

How can a poor third work country called Kenya spend Kshs 1.1 trillion in just 9 months on tea, mandasi, samosa, workshop/seminars in Mombasa and air tickets?

After overtaxing you, drowning you in debt and cooking the shadiest fuel deals in our history, this govt now wants applause for ‘negotiating’ a crisis it created. They hike prices, blame a ‘global crisis’, then compromise a few loud voices into silence and call it leadership. Kenya doesn’t need photo‑ops and KSh10 gimmicks on diesel. We need the extractive cartel state dismantled. We must Reset, Restore & Rebuild Kenya #Ukombozi @UGMParty @Maraga27 @ntvkenya @citizentvkenya @tv47digital @StandardKenya @TheStarKenya @NationAfrica
William Samoei Ruto, PhD@WilliamsRuto

We are fully aware of the frustration, pain and burden that families, businesses, farmers and transporters have endured due to rising fuel prices over the past few weeks. The truth is this: Kenya is facing the effects of a global fuel crisis caused by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. This challenge is not unique to Kenya. Across the world, countries are grappling with rising fuel prices, supply shortages and disruptions in the global supply chain. Since the beginning of this crisis, we have responded decisively to cushion Kenyans from high fuel prices and to ensure the country continues to enjoy a stable and uninterrupted fuel supply under the Government-to-Government framework. In the April-May and May-June pricing cycles, the Government has spent KSh28.19 billion on fuel price support through direct stabilisation measures and Value Added Tax (VAT) relief of 8 per cent, protecting millions of Kenyans from even greater hardship. Without Government intervention during this period, Super Petrol would retail at KSh230 a litre instead of the current KSh214. Diesel would retail at KSh277 instead of KSh232, while kerosene would retail at KSh270 instead of KSh191. To further cushion Kenyans, I have directed a KSh10 reduction for diesel in the June-July pricing cycle. We call on Kenyans to remain patient as we navigate this crisis. Let us not allow irresponsible political opportunists to politicise a crisis that is global in nature. Together, we shall overcome these challenges. Held talks with transport stakeholders at State House Mombasa and agreed on a series of reforms to address concerns in the transport sector, including the possibility of a temporary relief on lending terms for the transport sector, insurance claims and regulations on minimum fares for digital taxis, as well as allowing the continued use of artwork and graffiti on matatus.

Madam Boss, all this is happening under instructions from State House. Please don’t include me as part of your team. Whenever issues like the Finance Bill and other misguided government policies arise, you bury us in numbers instead of addressing the real concerns. Eg who brought fuel securitization loan of 60B and how many roads were done and was it necessary to securitise fuel yani kuchukuwa loan using fuel levy

When you hear politicians suddenly uniting to tell you who the “enemy” is, pause and ask yourself one question: Who benefits when citizens are divided and distracted? Too often, the political class closes ranks not to defend the people, but to defend the system that feeds them. They want Kenyans fighting each other while corruption, impunity, unemployment, and economic injustice continue unchecked. The moment someone begins questioning the structure of exploitation, the wardens of the prison quickly unite and point at a new “enemy” to keep the prisoners distracted. Kenyans must stop worshipping political camps and start defending principles. Accountability is not tribal. Justice is not regional. Truth is not partisan. The real struggle is not between ordinary citizens. The real struggle is between a corrupt system and the people paying the price for it every day.

This is what local accountability looks like: In Festus, Missouri, a town of about 14,000 people, the city council quietly approved a $6 billion Ai data center to be built on 360 acres just north of Highway 67. Residents say they were never properly heard. Meetings were held in private. Documents were released too late. A week after the approval, the town held a regular election. Voter turnout jumped 129 percent. Every single council member who had voted yes lost in a landslide. A 70-year-old first-time candidate beat an 8-year incumbent by 40 percentage points. Now a recall petition is circulating to remove the mayor as well. The lawsuit against the city is already filed. Has your local government ever been held accountable like this? 🔥

🚨🎙️ Wayne Rooney on Chelsea’s controversial FA Cup Final defeat against Manchester City: “I’ve watched football long enough to know when a team’s been hard done by, and Chelsea were absolutely robbed today. I don’t care who you support, some of those decisions were unbelievable. The first incident on Joao Pedro before halftime is a penalty for me all day long. Khusanov doesn’t go for the ball, he goes straight through the man. Anywhere else on the pitch that’s a foul instantly, so why does it suddenly become ‘not enough contact’ inside the box? Makes no sense. Then in the second half, the one on Caicedo… Doku clearly catches him as he’s driving forward. Chelsea players are surrounding the referee asking for consistency because we’ve seen those given plenty of times this season. VAR had every opportunity to step in and once again nothing happens. And the handball shout? That’s another one people will debate all week. The ball hits O’Reilly’s arm from Enzo’s cross and I honestly don’t know what defenders are supposed to do anymore because we’ve seen penalties given for far less than that. Every week the interpretation changes. What frustrated me most was the reaction from the officials. No urgency, no proper review, no referee going over to the monitor. In a cup final, with moments that big, you have to get them right. Chelsea players looked furious because deep down they probably felt the decisions were never going their way today. Three huge calls, all ignored. That changes games, especially finals. If this happened to Manchester United, Liverpool or Arsenal, everyone would be talking about it for weeks. But because it’s Manchester City on the other side, people seem scared to really question it properly. Chelsea didn’t only lose the final today… they were let down badly by the officiating.”
