Before accepting my first sales job I almost took a job working in a bank with a much higher base salary One of reasons I took the sales job is they had a pool table in the office which looked fun Imagine they never had the pool table, fuck knows what I’d be doing right now 🤣

Huge problem yes but the remote closing opportunity is marketed as fed warm leads work 3 hours a day so i wouldn’t necessarily blame the reps from day 1

Huge issue I’ve noticed with sales reps in the online space compared to corp space is taking leads for granted. There’s just an expectation of having another 8-10 the next day so if they was having an off day, woke up a little tired, decided to just forget about pre call warm ups I’ve seen a who cares attitude so many times. This becomes huge issue when the funnel is dependent on paid traffic because the cost per call stats are horrendous. It’s easy to lose sight of the effort put in before you’ve seen the call in your calendar or the dollar amount attached to getting that lead there. I ask my sales reps would you be cool with setting $500 every few hours on fire from your pocket? I push them to treat every single lead like they paid for it and suddenly you’ll find your desire to kill goes up If the offer owner / sales management are going crazy about things on the offset seem like small issues or an overkill just remind yourself to run the numbers. Number of calls per week X $500 (on the low end) X number of sales reps in the team. That’s the cost of making YOU money that we put up to facilitate the business growth. Closers need to stop being so first order consequence thinkers and adapt a more entrepreneurial mindset or you will not survive as market conditions get tougher. If you can only sell on organic funnels have news for you. You cannot sell you can take orders only.

If you’re reaching out to fresh leads using outbound currently the biggest objection right now is going to be "Not Now / Let’s talk in the new year" 95% of sales people I’ve come across do not know how to handle this but I used the same message for like 3 years every December and it works like a charm lol SEE BELOW : ADDRESS THE OBJECTION UP FRONT BEFORE YOUR PROSPECT DOES: 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 “I can appreciate that the holidays are coming up and things are going to be super busy. Worth taking a peek at how we can help with X, before everything gets crazy with the holidays / Q1? It’s working really well for (competitor) who we helped achieve (desired outcome) From there, if it’s not something that makes sense, I won't waste either of our time in the new year." I would book meetings every single December and close deals just like every other month. Remove the limiting beliefs.
