..Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.

We all have psychological problems occasionally. A mental health concern becomes a mental disorder when continuing signs and symptoms result in frequent distress and interfere with our ability to function. #mentalhealthmatters

Nairobi Academy has been ordered to pay Ksh. 637,500 for unlawfully publishing a child’s name and exam results in a national newspaper. The school published a child’s name and exam results in a national newspaper’s advertising feature, without the parent’s consent , just to attract new clients. A student’s private results was turned into a billboard.
The Data Commissioner called it a “deliberate and aggravated violation.” Even after the parent had clearly objected, and after the school promised to protect the child’s privacy, Nairobi Academy went ahead and published anyway, exposing the minor’s data to the entire country, permanently.

Fruitfulness has always been God’s idea.
Discipleship is how God changes the world as one life pours into another.

Succession: The Lifeline of Every Business - @PeterNdegwa_ #CTA101
During his leadership at East African Breweries Limited (EABL), Peter Ndegwa delivered one of his most impactful lessons at a dealer conference. The room was filled with some of the most respected distributors in East Africa—individuals of influence who had built thriving enterprises and anchored EABL’s success in the region.
As he observed the gathering, Ndegwa highlighted both their strengths and their vulnerabilities. He acknowledged their reputations, strong performance, and community influence. But then he raised a critical concern:
“You are all above a certain age. In five to ten years, if you do not bring your sons and daughters into this business, it will die.”

The statement landed heavily. The room went silent. Yet that moment of discomfort sparked one of the most profound shifts in EABL’s distributor network.
Ndegwa’s point was simple but powerful: succession planning is not optional. Businesses collapse not because their founders lack skill or resilience, but because they fail to prepare the next generation to carry on the legacy.
The results soon became visible. At the following dealer conferences, many distributors attended with their sons and daughters. Over time, these successors transitioned into leadership, ensuring continuity and sustainability. Today, several of those businesses are thriving under the stewardship of the next generation.
The lesson is timeless:
Legacy is not just about what is built—it is about what is passed on.
Sustainability requires deliberate succession.
True leaders are defined not only by performance but by the successors they nurture.
Peter Ndegwa’s call to action at EABL remains a vivid example of courageous leadership—reminding businesses everywhere that the future belongs to those who prepare for it. #CTA101
