CB fans gotta understand, Chris Brown isn’t in the same deal anymore. Since owning his masters and being in more of a distribution setup with RCA, first week sales probably aren’t his main focus now. He makes more from ownership, touring, and streaming.

@Treajon_Jc Same way breezy also had cbe/rca?? It not about the marketing in my opinion. Its about the public/media/fans support make a artist to sell albums or whatever. Breezy got loyal fanbase but now he is in his end of his career if being real. No artist remain top of the game forever.

Sza is in a joint deal with rca her main label is tde which explains the heavy streaming support she gets when she drops music because it certainly doesn't come from rca Doja is rca & her last album sold 57k alot of her fans complained about lack of marketing/playlisting as well

DJ Akademiks says it’s only a few artists that can do what Drake did dropping 3 albums. Kanye West could do it but he doesn’t put Chris Brown in that category. AK says he doesn’t think Breezy has the range to do that

In 2015, Chris Brown released 3 projects in the same year. CB makes music for his fans, he wins awards for being inevitable, but he doesn't care about the industry; he owns 100% of the rights to his music. What they do today, he already did a decade ago.

Unpopular opinion, but BROWN suffers from a serious lack of restraint. If Chris Brown cut the tracklist down to its strongest 9 tracks and strip back the heavy vocal processing, no one would be questioning its cohesion. There is a classic R&B record hidden under all that bloat.

@kellythekid6 @_ovohb My thoughts on this one is, the length of album. We all agree here there are 4-5 songs in the album which are fillers. 11:11 don't have fillers songs. He should kept the length 22 but he increase is don't know why?

I think the Brown album had the hype initially but his questionable decisions with those specific rap features while promoting the album as “Timeless R&B” and using an AI rollout. As well as the MJ inspired pose all killed the hype imo. He made it so easy for people to hate on an album before they even heard it & that’s why this sucks bc it’s a really good body of work.

With the way yall are treating BROWN we’ll never get another vulnerable album again
