Today our leader, @brentdunn, was honored by our Board of Trustees at a surprise announcement. The Vice President for University Advancement suite in the Smart University Advancement Center will forever bear his name in honor of his dedication and commitment to @MissouriState.

Today is my final day at Missouri Southern as I am retiring from the state system. I’m so grateful for my time at MSSU. I’ve seen firsthand the impact this university brings to this region. Thanks to all who helped make my time at MSSU meaningful and enjoyable. Go Lions!

Private giving changes lives. First-gen student Nancy Jaime graduated from MSSU with a BA in English, aiming to become an immigration lawyer. Thanks to the Albert L. Storm Award, she says, “Your help has encouraged me to stay motivated and continue working hard.”

Dr. Ramesh Shah and his wife Kumudini gave a major gift to create the endowed Dr. Ramesh R. Shah Scholarship, which supports pre-med students at Missouri Southern. “This gift is to help those students, which will hopefully keep more graduates here in the local healthcare field."
