@KSG_FOR_DAYS @Ruleof2Review This is a very good reason. But to be fair the Metroid games (most of them) came out when Nintendo were pretty good as a company (when they loved their fans).

@Ruleof2Review Okay. My main reasoning for not playing Metroid is cause of the requirement to buy a Nintendo product (Don't really like some of their tendencies to shut down fan projects or take down stuff, like the mass removal of mods from Gmod). Its still an awesome franchise, tho.

@Kenny35113659 @Ruleof2Review Agreed. But to be fair the prime games (3D ones) are just a different type of feel all together honestly. I'm strictly for the 2D Metroid games.

@Ruleof2Review I tried but simply missing that 90s alien vibe from SNES. That game had some of the 80s/90s japanese horror elements too. Those bursting eggs of the Metroids with that fluid leaking out. The monster designs and sounds. That was completely gone in prime. Too sterile, too clean.

@Ruleof2Review The lack of character development in samus and too much emphasis on environmental story telling. Narrative threads / voice acting and more characters to interact with will help. I am a story/plot eccentric gamer.

@VideoArtGame The movies were bad but when they stuck in beloved popular characters from the actual franchise they looked pretty sick.... Here's hoping the new movie goes in a better direction that can relate to the games better 🍻
