On the substance of her opinion in Morgan v. Sundance, telling lower courts they can't make up rules favoring arbitration anymore seems like a big deal. Only time will tell how big of a deal it turns out to be, but my non-impartial take is to share the optimism of @kateashaw1 .

First, Sundance cheated Robyn Morgan and her coworkers out of wages by playing games with its time records. When she called them on it by filing suit, they started playing games with the federal court system.

So Sundance tried to fire him and move the case to arbitration under a contract Robyn was required to sign in order to get her job, a contract Sundance had never said a word about during the eight months the case had been in court.
