So Allen Onyema wanted to build MRO in Alaigbo years back
He approached Enugu State first and the Govt could not secure a lad for him near the airport
He came to his home state Anambra and even paid 100m for a land and Umueri people started threatening him; again Anambra State Govt led by Prof Ojionu could not protect his investment
Now the same MRO will be built in Lagos
This about this for a second as an Igbo man
If you know how many investors that Prof Ojionu have chased away from Anambra ehee? This is why I'm angry!
How do you have a set of people that don't care about our region as Govs bikonu?
Do you know what an MRO will do to the economy of Anambra? It means jets from other African countries can come here for maintenance and servicing
Tomorrow we will ask why our people are going to Lagos
Simple land administration we no fit handle.
It is very very sad

@__ManOfPeace__ @Jack_ng01 Every land in the state belongs to the state.
English

He should stop giving silly excuses. Was he expecting the govt to give him people’s land for free?
He brought 100m as if that amount can purchase anything in the SE.
The land he is currently building it in Lagos, did he pay a paltry 100m for it?
He would say it openly that he wanted free land

@italopunter @trigottista There is an issue, because the entire education system can be messed up on a dinner table by one family
English

@trigottista I don’t see any issue if they are both qualified

Is it a good thing to put the entire tertiary education in the hand of one family?

@ComrAbdulazeez @PeterObi Only 'fuuls' care only about election and those that will vote for them but never the life and welfare of their fellow citizens
One of them just commented and started to laugh at his fuulishness

@PeterObi I wonder whether Nigerians living in Cape Town South Africa has PVC to come vote for you.
Mr. Optics President 😂
English

After speaking with Nigerians in Cape Town yesterday, I was able to have meaningful discussions this morning with three South African ministers and political party leaders regarding the ongoing challenges related to immigration, regional collaboration, and fostering peaceful coexistence between our nations.
I had the pleasure of meeting with Mr Leon Schreiber, the South African Minister of Home Affairs and a prominent figure in the Democratic Alliance; Mr Velenkosini Hlabisa, the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs and leader of the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP); and Mr Gayton McKenzie, the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture and leader of the Patriotic Alliance (PA).
Our conversations were productive and candid, focusing on the current challenges that affect both countries—particularly those related to migration, economic strains, youth unemployment, security issues, and the rising tensions faced by African foreigners in South Africa.
I firmly believe that Nigeria and South Africa, both prominent African nations, must enhance dialogue, bolster cooperation, and seek solutions based on justice, mutual respect, and adherence to the rule of law. In challenging times, leaders and citizens alike need to demonstrate responsible leadership, compassion, and restraint.
We collectively stressed the importance of law-abiding behaviour, avoiding violence, resisting hate or provocation, and allowing lawful institutions to address grievances through democratic and constitutional processes, regardless of the challenges we face.
The progress of Africa hinges on our ability to create unity, foster economic inclusivity, invest in our communities, and uphold the dignity of every African, no matter where they live. -PO

@afrisagacity Last time Duke contested, he lost his polling Boothe, Nwajuba will not take any Obi. GEJ is not contesting.

PRP is fielding Donald Duke (South South) and Datti Baba-Ahmed (North West, PO’s former VP).
PDP wants to field Goodluck Jonathan (South South).
ADC wants to field Emeka Nwajiuba (as VP) or any other YOUNG IGBO man from the South East.
The plot: Balkanize Peter Obi’s strongholds (South East and South South), whittle down his influence in the South, and stop him by all means possible.

Our Children Deserve Enhanced Learning Environments.
Today, May 21st, I had the opportunity to visit Practising Primary School in Agulu, my hometown, which has been a cornerstone of education since its establishment in 1922. Unfortunately, the school suffered significant damage from a fire last year, resulting in the loss of a historical building that had educated generations.
During a previous visit, I committed to supporting the school's reconstruction and to helping create a modern, supportive environment for the students.
This morning, I was pleased to return and deliver an initial amount of 10 million Naira to help initiate the rebuilding process. Education is a crucial investment for any community, and restoring schools is essential for renewing hope and ensuring a brighter future.
I also took the time to engage with the students, encouraging them to take their education seriously. Their future will be shaped by the discipline, effort, and dedication they demonstrate today.

@patrickanum @emenikeemmanue6 The killings in Middle belt and any part of Nigeria should not be called politics
If your words are to stand for it, then it is duplicitous of him to shut mouth to killings calling it politics but went round the country claiming prayer warrior...
I had people like that...
English

1. You can react to Gowon without mentioning innocent people murdered. An innocent is an innocent no matter what
2. You can remind Gowon and we won’t have a problem but have you gone into that comment section and seen what is written? That is no longer about Gowon. It has deviated to us.
3. No tribe has condemned Fulani attacks is no justification for a section to consistently dehumanize the Middle Belt.
4. Gowon has not spoken about the Middle Belt killings because he has said he has left all issues regarding politics, society etc
We do not agree but we respect it. Besides he’s 91, i think there are successors who can be vocal. So it’s a non issue to me
English

The type of hatred that a section of these folks have for the Middle Belt has been brewing and if I might add, growing for quite a while.
I used to go to many of their rooms and just sit quietly and listen. You would not imagine what they say about Middle Belt people.
I only wish I had recorded some of the rooms. You would hear statements like “they will continue to unalive all of them”
This particular writers statement comes from such categories”
Whenever there is a killing in Southern Kaduna, Benue, Plateau, Taraba, Nasarawa, Kogi etc, you just need to go under the comment section on Sahara Reporters and other news platforms to see the vitriol being spewed.
I used to ignore it for a while with the hope that it would die down. But the first rule about hatred in Nigeria is that, if it is not addressed, it grows.
I can understand if someone hates Gowon. I will not be mad at that, but this is no longer about Gowon, this is about dehumanization and inhumane things being said about Middle Belt people based on past events of which they know nothing about.
Ironically, the Middle Belt is filled with Igbo people who have migrated there to conduct business.
Most of the time, those piling on these insults don’t even know this.
Whenever we speak about these issues, we are blackmailed with words like “didn’t we in the past help you speak about the unalivings by Fulani in your area?”
That is not the issue, and that does not excuse a section of your group constantly make dehumanizing remarks regarding our unalivings
The ordinary people in the Middle Belt through the government of J.D Gomwalk kept the properties of Igbo people and returned them after the civil war.
In particular, the people in the Benue division flooded food items to the people of the East Central State after the civil war
This is what their children get in return, taunting at every turn while living in our territories en mass.
Most Middle Belters won’t call out this insanity but I have a reputation for calling out everything.
Maybe a section of you who seem to be unable to resist insulting us should inform your brothers to return back and stop living among us if we are such terrible people
I am tired of having to see this madness

Peace wan finish your people for plateau state and middle belt.

@sirwalexy @InibeheEffiong There has never been a generation of Israel that relied on prayer and fasting in dealing with their enemies
English

The present day Isreal won’t be organising a 3 day fasting and prayer, they will be on the hunt to capture the perpetrators and then send them to hell.
Even the Bible recommends taking it by force.
We need to stop this religious nonsense.
This is totally unacceptable and a great injustice to the family of the victims.
English

Instead of declaring a strike action or going on protest at a minimum over the kidnap of their colleagues, the clowns leading the Nigeria Union of Teachers in Oyo State are embarking on a 3-day fasting and prayers.
They are even making silly excuses for the government. The same government that has failed to protect life and property?
We have a lot of sick people in this country.
