A billionaire walked into a five-star hotel and asked for the cheapest room they had. The receptionist blinked, confused. “Sir, our presidential suite has a full city view…”

Recovery agents? Forget it. These are street goons in formal dress. In Pune, a customer was brutally assaulted in the middle of the road over credit card dues — right in front of his wife. If finance companies use thugs for recovery, they deserve criminal action, not business licenses. #RecoveryMafia #CreditCard #Pune @CPPuneCity

@nnatuTOI @MMRDAOfficial MMRDA engineers are quite famous for creating engineering marvels like Mira Bhayandar bridge. Thinking about poor creatures like pedestrians is not their job. Their mandate is altogether different.

When a #metro station exit opens into a pillar! @MMRDAOfficial, are pedestrians supposed to fly over this structure to get on to the pavement after exiting Goregaon East metro station?

@ak420rara @rajtoday All previous DRMs—and even current DRMs in other divisions—regularly engage with the media. Why is @drmmumbaicr consistently not responding to queries related to his division? Public accountability isn’t optional—doesn’t he owe answers to the people? @AshwiniVaishnaw @GM_CRly

Silence for a year now. Central Railway Mumbai Divisional Railway Manager Hiresh Mina has boycotted the media for over a year now. He has not been speaking to journalists at all despite multiple attempts at all levels. Occupying one of the most critical public-facing roles in a city where the suburban railway network is the lifeline, the absence of any media engagement raises serious questions. The DRM is the administrative head of the division—and is accountable to millions of daily commuters who rely on transparent communication. He has been meeting activists and politicians but has effectively kept the media away for over a year now since he took charge. In a metropolis like Mumbai, where railways are deeply embedded in everyday life, such sustained silence from the top undermines public trust. Heading the railways in a city like Mumbai and not speaking to the media reflects a worrying shift in public accountability. Can a person heading the system that moves millions daily afford to remain this disconnected? Appeal to him to get along and speak

In Kozhikode, Kerala, a brave elderly woman firmly stopped a scooty rider from using the footpath and directed him back onto the road. Her strong civic spirit and courage truly deserve praise.

A leopard entered a Bhayandar residential building, injuring six people. Forest department and NGO teams rushed to the site to rescue the trapped animal safely. Authorities urged residents to stay away and avoid provoking the leopard, while rescue teams, including wildlife experts, worked to safely contain the animal inside the housing society. Wow, truly world class! Thanks @MumbaiMetro3 & @mybmc for creating such a “pedestrian-friendly” footpath that actually ensures pedestrians can’t walk easily. Stellar planning. Loved this signboards first policy. Must be replicated all over Mumbai. @Dev_Fadnavis @mieknathshinde

@drmmumbaicr @rajtoday I guess CPRO was absent in the meeting with passenger activists in your sprawling office, so you could have given us better perspective on the issue and so we were there...We didn't know you follow verbal orders of former GM, even after his retirement. @GM_CRly

Not accountable to the city? Lordships of the kingdom. Central Railway General Manager Vijay Kumar's rude security guards slamming the door on journalists at CSMT when they went to meet him for a comment on the mass chaos & deaths on Central Railway on Thursday. Mumbai Divisional Railway Manager Hiresh Mina too refused to meet journalists, after making them wait. CSMT HQ offices had become a fortress today Whom are they answerable to @AshwiniVaishnaw ji ? #Mumbai #MumbaiRailway @RailMinIndia @RavneetBittu @VSOMANNA_BJP
