Konami has revealed Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, a new side-scrolling action game in the series.
The story follows Rose Belmont, successor to Trevor Belmont
Developed by Evil Empire and Motion Twin and published by Konami, the game launches October 15, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

@emilianopm04 @CryptumZetaXV Well, it's not realistic, but it's grounded in a way where there's more emotional impact in the stories that Halo tells. I mean, the world of Halo isn't all sunshine and rainbows considering the main character was a kidnapped child soldier.

@benoski73 It literally is. It is a predominantly single player experience. You choose the buttons you press, you choose the skins you use. Whether your appearance is grounded, edgy, or goofy is entirely your choice.

@CryptumZetaXV Halo is well known for it's very emotional stories that it tells like "Believe" and Halo Legends. Having ridiculous skins would take away from the cinematic and immersive feelings that these stories tell. 2/2

@CryptumZetaXV Well, let's look at the context of DOOM and Halo. DOOM is an insanely over the top arcade shooter that really doesn't take itself too seriously. Halo is a grounded military sci fi shooter with immersive cinematic world building, so it takes itself seriously. 1/2
