When I was really young I used to want to play MMOs cuz the idea of me and my friends in a fantasy world sounded cool but now it’s a dead genre and you have to pay monthly, actually brain dead genre I’m surprised it had such a big impact

I was banned on FFXIV for Aggressive comments and behavior against others during twitch streams. I was not aware the ToS applied to outside of game as long as ANY FFXIV copyright content was visible. I was not given any details about the ban other than that. More details later.

@Nevy4256 @XenosysVex He isn't running a daycare, the vast majority of his fans are adults and have minds of their own. He has said not to harrass, his responsibility ends there. Also you're shifting goalposts now, saying slurs isn't automatically against ToS unless they're spoken in a specific way

@KyleHydeFan @ahsafar5 I just disagree. It has just the right amount of things happening at any given moment. It's not completely perfect, ShB isn't flawless, but it's better than any other VG story I know of

@koha1072557 @ahsafar5 The story has a great climax but Shadowbringers isn’t consistently delivering amazing story beat after amazing story beat. It’s good for an MMO

@ultmtelifeforme HW is great (but it's not ShB) & EW I find extremely mediocre and would completely collapse on it's own. Even looking in other mediums there are masterpieces there ofc but none scratch that same ShB itch for me. If you know a game story you consider better please share

@ultmtelifeforme I don't focus on JRPG/story games so I have just played a subsection of them; some FF, Xenoblade, Persona, FE, etc. & a few niche titles. I've tried many but if the story or gameplay doesn't grab me by 1/3 through I just drop. No game (even other XIV expacs) have come close.

@KyleHydeFan @ahsafar5 Are you talking about the MSQ gameplay or the story itself? If you think there's a better vg story (irrespective of gameplay) than Shadowbringers please share because I haven't found anything that came even remotely close

@ahsafar5 I mean I think replay value needs something. Story isn't it, especially if you're not engaging with multiplayer content. 14 gameplay isn't good enough. Just watch the cutscenes through private rooms or YouTube
