Amazon deactivated my account, thinking I had a dup account. It seems like they require a form from a lawyer. Does anyone know an Amazon lawyer I can reach out to? I'd appreciate it greatly 🙏

@konFBA you need to submit an affidavit, llc docs, bank statements, and photo id. one of my friends just got reinstated by doing that

@cleartheshelf I’ve been back and fourth with them and one of the reps told me I should get a paper from a lawyer stating that the other account and I aren’t owned by me. I guess that’s what they want to see

@konFBA What is the wording making you think they require a form from an attorney?

parents love buying clothes and items for their children using them as a symbol of their beliefs (weird) but this is what sells. emotional based purchasing decision consumers online saying “I won’t let them take my guns” no better way to sell them, than selling the love for their kids

Just sold my final few units in the warehouse. Leaving Amazon FBA behind for new ventures. Success lies beyond our comfort zones. I think it's time to move on. Big thanks to friends who had my back. Ready to explore what's next

@SherXSingh I've always had this burning desire to truly own my business, not have it dictated by Amazon. While it's been great not having to spend money on marketing, I feel there's so much untapped potential out there. Exploring something new feels like the right move rn

I got my account back!!!!!!!
Jonah 📦@jonahhodges_

My main seller account got deactivated and it's looking bad.. We've exhausted every option and seems there's not much we can do to recover it Thousands of products active in the catalog 50 different brands 1,000+ units selling per day and ONE critical complaint put us down Technically we can't PROVE that the product in question isn't counterfeit (and we need to since complaint came directly from brand) Lot of red flags in the supply chain which makes me question authenticity myself. Both us and our supplier got lied to, and ultimately will lose the OG account over it. These are the downsides of wholesale.. Already learned few things from this though #1 If you sell physical products have other accounts & marketplaces to sell through. If all your eggs are in one basket diversify as much as you can. Been growing out eBay, Walmart, Amazon MX and CA side of the business for the past year and will continue to do so. When you have in demand products, it only makes sense to eventually list them EVERYWHERE (this is also a service you can offer to brands/distributors) #2 What's more important than your seller account are the RELATIONSHIPS you have with your suppliers When you're working directly with vendors and are AUTHORIZED to sell you can bounce back from death sentences like this one We sell hundreds of units every day of a brand that we're authorized to sell for. When the account got deactivated, I got an email... "What's going on? We're not making any sales.." After explaining the situation they understood and have been patient since (thank God) Currently moving all inventory over to another account and already making sales FBM This is why I'm forever bullish on the wholesale model... The relationships and connections you build along the way are what matter MOST Plenty of hurdles with Amazon but when you're working DIRECTLY with authorized vendors there's no problem you can't overcome. Buy authentic goods from authorized parties WHO CAN PROVE AUTHENTICITY THROUGH SUPPLY CHAIN. Only buy from distributors who can prove this with invoices Amazon's BIGGEST NO NO is selling counterfeit goods and if you're accused of it you need to be able to prove otherwise. If you can and KNOW with 100% certainty that the product you're selling is real, you'll be okay. Do business with trusted suppliers. Avoid the quick cash. Question sketchy vendors Pivot, adjust, learn from mistakes and try again

Wholesale supplier red flags 🚩: - no commercial address - not much business information online - fine with texting but you can’t get them on a call - can’t answer basic requests (list of UPC codes, pics of product, supply chain info) Avoid shady suppliers AT ALL COSTS

The most effective way to sell on Amazon is to work directly with brands and solve their problems, bypassing middlemen. Thus, avoiding any problems with IP or any other claims. Going to work harder to get more brand-direct accounts.

Additionally, my supplier is not providing me with the necessary information to counter this. Nor does the brand want to comment on this, As I thought. This highlights the challenges of dealing with a centralized decision-maker. Part of being an Amazon seller👌 Move on & Learn

It's frustrating how Amazon labels my inventory as counterfeit simply because the brand wants to remove other sellers from the listing. I understand their desire to manage their own listing, but marking my product as counterfeit and resulting in Amazon discarding $4,000 worth?
