Police say a 28-year-old California man allegedly bought expensive LEGO sets, kept the pieces and returned the boxes filled with dry pasta. Authorities say the scheme was repeated about 70 times nationwide before he was caught.
I saw shane gillis at the united center chicago last night. Good show, but the autistics in the stadium were so bad with echo that I could hardly understand what he was saying. I Love stand up but stadiums/arenas are the worst venues for it.
In my entire life, I’ve never ever received or heard of a text message being received from an “Unknown Number”
why does this exist in so many TV shows? totally takes me out of the suspension of disbelief.
@mollyfleck@MattBraynard They still exist for now. My favorite car I’ve ever owned was a Merc AMG E63 wagon. It’s great for kids and even has one of those backward seats in the hatchback like the old Volvos. For me it has a powerful V8 that sounds amazing. You can get nice used ones for 60-70k.
Lexus had a Christmas ad this year showing a daughter growing up alongside various Lexuses in the driveway. I was struck by the difference between the car her parents brought her home in ~30 years ago vs. the car that she brought her own daughter home in in modern times.
@mollyfleck@MattBraynard my wife is 8 months pregnant and I’m trying to find a Buick Regal TourX — the last (kinda) True American Wagon. Americans hate the wagon (but that’s changing…see BMWs recent sales of the M3 wagon). Wagons are handle much better than crossovers and are much safer.
