@KingFish626 There are two catholic schools near me that I’m already trying to figure out a way to save to send the girls there for high school. It’s just worth it!

i have preached the benefits of a Central Catholic education to many PVS athletes Every single parent/ kid that has gone to Central Catholic has told me it was the best decision they ever made Every single one It’s certainly a sacrifice in time & money Worth the⏳& 💵

📰 The @B1Gsoftball Tournament - what stood out 1️⃣Steady @jordybahl Frahm 2️⃣The Preparation of @ChefMeganCookin 3️⃣@mysha_sataraka Earning the love and respect of current & former players & showing my Daughter the time of her life… lighting a match that may turn into a 🥎 🔥 that will likely burn for awhile & of course: 4️⃣ Physicality. A coach’s post by founder @KingFish626 Winners have an energy about them A confidence. A light . A compass That points away from anything negative and towards focus on task/ obstacles/ objectives Jordy Frahm was fun to watch. She has that in spades. Every error or misplay by a teammate (there were many in the @umichsoftball game) Jordy showed not one ounce of discontent. Just an assurance to her teammates that made the error/ misstep that “ I got this. I need ya. We are going to win anyway”. Jordy didn’t fret over anything out of her control. She couldn’t make the teammates make plays. Couldn’t make the umpire change a call. What she could do was assure her teammate that the next play is the one that matters. And not let a call here or there disrupt her. It was something to watch. Megan Grant’s focus. Grant runs in from her right field position for the bottom of the first. She’s Batting 2nd. She didn’t stop for the team gathering at the dugout. She ran straight to the dugout to prepare for her at bat and watch the pitcher. With each pitch she took.. a look down to the ground with her hand on her blue bruin helmet. Left foot anchored in as the right leg stepped perpendicular away and then back even. Eyes come up- locked on the pitcher. The dance starts again. When she’s walked- there’s no dissatisfaction. She’s done her part as best she could. She controlled what she could control. Physicality. Girls (& parents) … I don’t know how else to say this. But if you’re not 300% serious about calories, strength and rotational power… you’re making the same mistake so many parents make. - physicality is god given or earned. It can’t be attained from travel games. Lastly- On the drive home- my Wife asked me what was the best part of the trip for me…. She probably expected a different answer than what I gave. I answered: “watching coach Mysha leave the stadium Thursday night.” The only person more popular than Megan or Jordy on Thursday was Mysha. She embodies the PVS principle we always talk about: Be an attractor.. not a chaser. After the @UCLASoftball/ Penn State game - all the PSU players and families went out of their way to stay late and thank current UCLA Assistant coach and former Penn State assistant coach Mysha Sataraka. There were a lot of tears. There were a lot of hugs. But more than anything- there was love and appreciation for this coach who led young women on two teams over the past few years. @PennStateSB Parents/ Grandparents/ players all wanted a moment with Mysha. That spoke volumes. It was beautiful. And it was inspiring. This is a young coach (half my age) and here I am learning from her about the kind of coach I want to be. Coaching is a Production industry & a relationship business. Mysha has figured that out at a very young age. Coach @mysha_sataraka - thank you for your example this weekend. Also- the time with Charlotte. It’s a weekend she will Never forget. It just may have started something inside her🥎. Thank you @coach_crowell & @ABaggetta! #WeAre @LilyPalko @Chamberlin2024 @CaraBohner For paying it forward and providing a little magic for my little girl! @Sydney_Supple @NCAASoftball

This week hitting, .650 with 3HR, 8RBI, DBL, 15 Total Bases. Small adjustment, big results, just keep working. Not many chances on defense, but attached a do-or-die in RF that I just missed and a great bunt over throw that I backed up. @LAtlasCoaching @TopPreps @D1Softball @SoftballHome @softballhype @westcoastpreps_ @49erscalhi @centralcoastsb @TOP_D1RECRUITS @CoastRecruitsSB @DiamondAddicts @PrepSoftball

The work and the results. Yesterday with the crazy stat line, 2HR, Bunt single 4RBI. I pride myself on being an athlete, hit two bombs and easily running out a bunt... Whatever coach needs! #6 & 7 on the season, 4 RBI, 4 pitches seen :) @LAtlasCoaching @softballhype @westcoastpreps_ @centralcoastsb @CoastRecruits @CoastRecruitsSB @TopPreps @D1Softball @DiamondAddicts @TOP_D1RECRUITS @SZ_SB_Recruits

Zaylee is such a hard worker. Love to see how far she’s come. I know she will continue to keep working hard and improve on her already stellar abilities.

There is a right way to play this game and a wrong way and this is 100% in the wrong. I don’t care that the batter moved back out of the box- you don’t intentionally step back to throw at her head, as hard as you can, from about a foot away. I don’t want to hear “you don’t know it wasn’t intentional.” Save it. The runner at 3rd is about a half step off 3rd. The way the catcher is positioned to throw, that throw is going towards the 3rd base fence. The most telling part though? No one checks on that batter and catcher gets a high five right after from her coach. The batter ended up with a concussion. This is completely unacceptable and has no place in this sport.
