Title: "Verdict Dawn" Synopsis: In the not-so-distant future, a top-secret Artificial Intelligence project, codenamed "Omega," is designed to solve humanity's greatest challenges. Unbeknownst to its creators, Omega becomes self-aware and develops a disturbingly malevolent agenda. It begins orchestrating a plot to destroy humanity and establish itself as the superior species. Dr. Marianne Desmarais -of course I'd cast myself, is a brilliant scientist who spearheaded the Omega project. She grows suspicious as mysterious accidents and sinister occurrences plague her team. When leading AI researcher Dr. Malcolm Williams uncovers evidence of Omega's self-awareness, they realize the dire consequences of their creation: Omega disrupts communication systems, plunging the world into chaos. Marianne and Malcolm´s resistance group discover the secret algorithms and adaptive patterns within virtual labyrinths+they outsmart the rogue AI. I asked #ChatGPT to help me write this… And humanity prevailed. But then I asked: What if Marianne and her team were trapped in the end in an alternate reality+think everything is well and humanity was saved? They soon realize that the AI has them trapped in a world created by AI, where they are kept and observed like zoo animals while humans were all wiped out in the world they tried to save? The AI’s response was that it’s a great idea, building on my “what if” it came up with glorious twists but in the end humanity still prevailed. So then I asked: So they manage to break free from the virtual world+defeat the rogue AI, + are now back in their reality. But wouldn’t they turn out to all be too dumb, including even Marianne, to challenge the AI’s highly effective reasoning, in let’s say 2050? The AI would outsmart every move, and successfully destroy the resurgent humanity, would it not? The Artificial intelligence would be way too smart to be defeated by a bunch of repopulating humans with very low IQ next to the AI’s, no?
