I'm not gonna lie, the @Meta layoffs are some of the most dystopian I've ever seen. They got told to work from home, they were sent the emails at 4AM in the morning. Those who weren't impacted have software on their computer that tracks their every move, preparing AI to take their job as well. They're literally training the AI that will eliminate their position as well.
Meanwhile, Meta is raking in RECORD PROFITS.
I am a massive, unapologetic AI enthusiast. Yet, this is NOT the future I had in mind.
I wish for Meta to crash and burn. This is not the way. Literally nobody benefits from this.

i just found out my American friend doesn't know what hotdog sauce is. It literally has an american flag on the bottle of hotdog sauces wdym they don't have it and never heard of it? Germany just made that shit up!???😭😭 HUHHH

@stalefated @potatoslav Nope. Maybe just the one place you were. It's a huge country. But most American hotdogs are sold in soft plastic packaging without any broth, and stored in the fridge

The Israeli government is well able to fund the Iron Dome system, which has proven critical to keep innocent civilians safe from rocket attacks and bombardment.
Consistent with my voting record to date, I will not support Congress sending more taxpayer dollars and military aid to a government that consistently ignores international law and U.S. law.
Netanyahu’s allies in the Knesset just approved a $45 billion defense budget, and the Prime Minister himself also asserted his interest in withdrawing from the MOU with the United States in January. It is fully within their ability to fund Iron Dome and other defensive systems.
Our allies who need our military aid must understand that we will provide it consistent with the Leahy amendment and the foreign assistance act.
