Three years ago today, Georgia state police murdered Tortuguita as part of their drive to destroy the Weelaunee Forest and build a deadly police militarization center. Tort fought for a world without police and capitalism, and so should we. Viva, viva Tortuguita.

We shouldn’t completely disregard the fissures opening up between federal, state, and local police and should seek to deepen and exploit them, but at the end of the day: they are all pigs and if it gets hot you can guarantee your Local PD will step in to defend ICE, what then?

It’s not necessarily true that every cop wishes they were doing what ICE is doing, because they think it’s reckless and rightfully fear that they are stoking a fire they can’t control. But a lot of cops DO wish they were in ICE, so there’s that too.

The Feds are so bad that it has people thinking their local or state police are somehow good.

Physical infrastructure is fragile.
