This is hilarious. The Daily Mail has revealed that Andy Burnham was jogging at 12.18pm, then he returned home 45 minutes in his VW Golf. His jog was just a photo op. Why pretend to jog? It just makes him look fake and untrustworthy. Something the public hate about politics.

420 has been around since I was at school, and through out the whole 14 year period the Tories were in power. The whole pantomime of cannabis criminalisation now looks absurd. A small-state, pro-liberty political party would end the farce: legalise it, regulate it, and tax its sale openly, just as we do with alcohol and cigarettes, both of which are scientifically more harmful than cannabis. I say that as someone who cannot stand the smell of the stuff.

@albieamankona The smell argument is such a weird one, but if it really was a make-or-break for the public, then private consumption clubs/lounges would be the answer alongside zones where public consumption was banned just as we already do with alcohol.

But all the little flag shagging accounts tell me otherwise. 🧐

I met my husband at a rave in 1992. We still have a playlist we love listening to at the weekend. Today we were chatting about how Gen X was probably the luckiest generation. The 70s felt like the Wild West - hilarious telly, fashion and music, zero political correctness, and total freedom. I learned to ride my bike during that hot summer of ‘76. The 80s were our teenage years, the best music, films and an incredible club scene. The 90’s were absolute peak. The rave culture was something else entirely — you really did have to be there to understand how extraordinary it was. Britpop was incredible, bars and clubs were thriving everywhere, and it just felt like one long, brilliant party. Not like now. #RestoreBritain
