We stopped into businesses to hear from owners and patrons alike, we brought our HOPE team down during the day to offer services to individuals in the area, and at night, we worked to make sure that everyone in the area was safe – whether they were visiting one of the businesses in the area or potentially harming themselves or others. Why did we do this, you ask? Because our goal is to help ensure the safety and security of every member of our community. And we believe this two-pronged approach helped make a difference in the area. “As a community, we have always believed that by working together, we can accomplish great things,” Sheriff Darin Balaam said. “This four-week program offered services to more than 250 individuals, encountered and arrested multiple individuals with outstanding felony warrants and helped take multiple grams of illegal, controlled substances out of the area. I have heard from a number of business owners and residents who say they genuinely appreciated our outreach and I want to thank them for the feedback they provided. Under Trump, I was making $34,320 per year, I lived with family, I struggled to get back in school and gas prices were the same. Under Biden, I make $72,800 annually, I have my own house, and I am half way through another degree. It’s silly to think trump had a better economy.

@lilithbaran It takes years for economic decisions to be felt by every day people. Our homeless increases are directly resulted by trumps lacking of regulations and tax decreases of the wealthy which meant more investment firms can come in and buy homes instead of people buying them.
